Pretty Beast
Pretty Beast formed in early 2015 and disbanded in 2017. My role in the band was bassist and synth player. During that time, we were premiered on Golden Plec, Shortlisted for Best EP on Pure M, reviewed by Hotpress magazine and made it on to Nialler 9's Video of the Week. We played one of our first gigs at Knockanstockan and went on to play Electric Picnic and other festivals.
Some of our promotional hijinks included running as presidential candidates during an election, documenting our quest to get a support slot for Gun 'n' Roses at Slane Castle by trying to find Henry Mount Charles, playing 50 gigs in a week and putting on a secret warehouse gig on the last Good Friday when you weren't allowed to buy alcohol.
